Mission League

The Mission League (CML) is a missionary movement established as an indigenous lay organization on 3 October 1947 at Bharananganam, Kerala, South India. It has grown into one of the largest missionary organizations for the laity in Asia, dedicated to nurturing missionary spirit and encouraging active participation in the life and mission of the Church.

In the context of the Eparchy of Great Britain of the Syro-Malabar Church, the Mission League plays an important role in the spiritual formation of children and young people. Through faith formation, missionary activities, and community service, CML encourages young members to grow in love for Christ and a deeper commitment to the Church.

With its inspiring motto of “Love, Sacrifice, Service and Suffering,” the Mission League seeks to nurture virtuous Christian lives and awaken a genuine missionary spirit in the younger generation. Through their active participation, members learn to live their faith with joy, compassion, responsibility, and a willingness to serve others.
